@edanosborne Someone said that Minidiscs are off patent. if that’s true, then it should be perfectly legal to make new ones without Sony.

I’m not sure about MiniDV.

Blu-Ray isn’t actually owned by Sony, but rather an independent association, so other companies can and should continue to make those. · 10 months ago
