My search engine seems to be completely broken for some reason. I do not know why, but I believe the crawler is still working. I will try to fix it soon.

@justyb The searchengine is now working again! There was problems with reading the tzdata info. I decided to use the embedded tzdata that go provides to put all the timezone info directly into the binary, and that has solved the problem for me. · 2 years ago

@justyb Thanks! It's still down. It seems to be an issue with a library that I'm using to run sql queries on my Firebird database, afaik. What's weird is the issue popped up randomely and my database code never changed in the past 24 hours, at least.

Restarting the server does nothing. I could try to restart the firebird database, but I have the crawler running atm. My crawler doesn't have a way to just pause because I didn't forsee this issue, lol.

So I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this yet. · 2 years ago

Totally looking forward to it once it's back in service. · 2 years ago

@technicaltap Yeah, sorry. It was working like 2 hours ago when I last tested it. I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong with it, lol. I hope to have it fixed within the hour.

Btw, a lot of the new crawl data (about 100000 pages) hasn't had the Full-Text Search indexing done, so those are unsearchable at the moment, but the majority of the indexed pages will be searchable. · 2 years ago

Yeah I’d been wanting to give it a spin. I was getting an error about the server responding with an incomplete header. · 2 years ago
