Help wanted: cert issues
Trying to register a new, 2nd certificate to my account on Station but when I activate it I don't get the "Join Station" link. This happens regardless of which of the 2 certificates is active. More importantly When neither is active, I am still logged in to my account for some reason!
At the same time, on the BBS site, I get the registration page no matter the certificate I use (and they are both registered!) while I *don't* get the normal page when I deactivate the certificates.
Any ideas as to what's going on here? Is there some cache I'm supposed to delete?
I use Lagrange 1.19.4 on Debian testing

Ok skyjake, thanks for the detailed explanation! It was the Pinned IDs. I forgot about those. I followed your instructions, then edited my bookmarks to remove IDs and made sure via the page's ID button that nothing is pinned and it worked. I achieved what I wanted to do which is to register my new ID at both sites. · 19 hours ago
There are no caches to clear. It sounds like you need to check your Identities sidebar and make sure the activation URLs are as expected (click on an identity; the URLs are in the popup menu). For Station and BBS you want the URL to be the "root" URL, e.g., "station.martinrue.com/", without any paths appended.
You could remove all the current activations ("Stop Using Everywhere" on each identity) and make sure to only "Use on This Page" when you've viewing the front page of BBS/Station).
You didn't mention any pinned identities (via a bookmark). Have you any of those? · 3 days ago
Hey, I believe @skyjake is following here. · 3 days ago
Also, could someone open up an issue on BBS/Lagrange-Issues on my behalf? thank you
I'll be reachable here (hopefully I can continue to use my account after I try some things!) and aRubes@tilde.green (xmpp) or aRubes at pm.me (Email) · 3 days ago
