Everyday

Paper Filter

You open yourself so easily

When edges are pushed gently

A baseless and upsidedown pyramid

Waiting eagarly to be filled with ground coffee

and hot water

Your discering and wise judgement

Creates the perfect boundary

Between wet and dirt-like coffee grounds

And heavenly hot coffee dripping through

You keep good hold of the used coffee

As I throw you unthinkingly into the bin
