- * Still as good as I recal it.
- ** I had to watch this again. I was reminded of it when Elon Husk & Doge started.
- *** After much prevaricating/resistance I read the book. It was 98% inescapable, it was like invasion of the body snatchers.. for a brief period of time The Da Vinci Code novel was the CULT of "have you read it?". Anyway, I eventually read it in a day. It's a real page turner. The film however is utterly dull, I almost fell asleep. Also, also a bunch of the dialog is in French with no seperated subtitles for the dvd and that's quite annoying. It's rare that a book can out pace a film. Also, also, also, also, also, also, also.. How on earth would any of the subject matter take from the divinity of the Crist?
- **** All I could think of was Cygnus Alpha.
- ***** I fell asleep. Before that though I liked some of the explosions.
- ****** By which all others are judged.
- + Starts off ok then decends rapidly into tiny hat propaganda.
- +*+ How and why does Dr. Daniel Challis go from Dr to detective is the bigger mystery.
- ++ That Gun fight was brilliant.
- ~~ You just know Elmo thinks of himself as doing this.
- +++ Subtitles where handled quite badly, lots of white txt on white backgrounds.
- ~`` A film that goes down in my estimation everytime I see the arrogant "Enlightenment" scene. I did score a a really cool "Evolve this" Tshirt the other day, I'm getting another one. Also also. "These people"!? There should be a law when it comes to that phrase, it's become so ubiquitous as to loose all meaning other than sound like someone pretending to be cleverer than whoever "These people" are.
- ^% Ironic colossal cave meanderings at the end. Unfortunately now that I've come up with/across "Colossal Cave Meanderings" as a meme/theme, I can't watch films with colossal cave meanderings without feeling a bit cheated. Great tits though, "I enjoyed that immensely".
