Finaly Used up All My Data a full 7 days away from the monthly reset whilst coincidentally downloading the DVD version of Blake's 7 :-( Serves my right, right?

Damn you Void-linux kernal updates!

Maybe @ one a week thats over 5 hundred MB's probably. It is defo time I focused all my download allowance on a barely rolling linux. Whist Void is great and it's a lot better since I put Linux-kernal (insert-number) on HOLD; It really isn't what Void-linux is about. If a new kernal update comes down the pipe your meant to install it, not stave off becouse.. reasons.

I've also discovered the internet archive as well (Bad timing).

I've been signed up to that site since the beginning of time but never took advantage of it, so I created a new account and started uploading Corporation Nation Radio Show (Christian Remedy In Law 2014 - 2018), that hammered my upload somewhat.

The Internet Archive is bloody slow.

However the download opportunity's are immeasurable and vast (or is that: vastly immeasurable?). I could watch a diffrent classic SCI-FI movie every night all year and never watch one on repeat. So far so good the site is crammed with classics. But it all takes bandwidth. Therefore Void-linux has out lived it's usefulness due to.. Reasons. It is a shame I shall miss it, it has been without question the best most solid and quite well documented simple linux I've ever used and my knowledge isn't that much improved since the late 90's.

I do have everything I need todo an offline install of PeppermintOs though in my experience operating systems oft go wrong for no apparent reason when your not online, they do to me anyway; they do it to wind me up. I still have a very limited internet. It's fine for Dict et-al but I'll not be downloading anything for a while.
