Free press is back

I didn't realize how starved I've been for good news about American institutions until today. Bari Weiss is now the editor-in-chief of CBS News, with The Free Press having been bought by Paramount. I still don't know what I think of her, but she's undeniably not in either political party's pocket and that that's rare among journalists these days. I guess we will have to wait to see how things shake out.

On the more personal front, I am incredibly tired. I have not slept too well, but mostly I've just been out late with friends too much over the past few days. Katie hard a party, trivia, etc. I hope to get more sleep tonight.
