Finally it's summer.

(I really need to stabilise the format I use for this lol)

It took a while, and I'm probably jinxing it yet again by saying it out loud, but summer is finally here, by Canadian standards at least. And the weather is real nice. No bushfire smoke either for once! It was bad a few weeks ago.

I have managed to bike to work a bunch of times. Strava says something like 250km so far this year. I still plan on riding as far into winter as I can by the end of the year. However I haven't managed to get the green bike on the road again. I need to modify thechaincase to fit better. The chain is rubbing at the back, an it's a bit rickety and the chain rubs sometimes in other spots. I should do that today. And update the project pages here and on the web lol

I'm not good at web1 social media

I have been working on the little eeepc 701 and it has been going well! antiX is nice and light, and Herbstluftwm is a pretty fun WM to learn on. Polybar, too. So far it's all fairly basic. But once I get it to where I want I might even use it on my other laptop - for convenience and consistency if nothing else.

(Note to self: Figure out if I can make a context menu pop up with a selection of emojis. That'd be handy.

Plot twist: After writing this I went and added little update comments to nearly all of the entries in this capsule. Gemlog and projects. Fun times!
