Daily use
Well, its now about two months since i got my Devterm and i have so far settled in. After trying out a few different windowmanagers and toolsets i found the - for me - perfect solution. I settled in on EXWM as the window manager and, well, Emacs for nearly everything except the browser, where my established solution is Dillo.
For what do i use the Devterm? Well, it has taken over my note-taking (having Emacs and orgmode with a fairly useable keyboard at hand is great), some coding on the go (the battery life of the Devterm is great and a far cry from the laptops i usually used) and of course for browsing the smol web.
While yes, i indeed have my desktop system at home which is much more powerfull, over the last two months i use it much less than before. Its just too conveniant to sit on the couch and thumb-type on the Devterm. I think the size is just perfect: Just big enough to have aa very useable keyboard but small enough to have it as everyday-carry computer.
What i also found out to my surrise is, that dosbox runs on this system which opened up a whole world of old DOS games for me again.
So far i think this was money well spend.
