Holiday cocktail, the Aereo di Carta Old Fashioned
- 2oz high corn, overproof bourbon (like Elijah Craig barrel proof, George Dickel bottled in bond, or Evan Williams barrel proof)
- 1/4 Oz amaretto
- 1/4 Oz aperol
- 1/4 Oz lemon juice
- Orange peel and luxardo cherry for garnish
Mix in mixing glass, serve over big ice (oops, i didn't do that) and garnish with orange peel and cherry on a pick.
This is, from the name, an Italian booze angle on a Paper Plane cocktail, which is a yummy one.
