ATA 35 - OXYGEN
- The flight crew oxygen is supplied from a high-pressure oxygen cylinder at a pressure of 127.5 bar (1.850 PSIG). The pressure regulator regulates the low pressure at 4.48 to 6.48 bar (65 to 94 PSIG).
- The masks are dropped automatically when the cabin altitude is higher than 14000 feet or manually by crew action on the MASK MANual ON pushbutton.
- When the selector is in the 100% position, the user will breathe pure oxygen.
- Push the reset test slider. The blinker turns yellow and goes black again showing that the regulator is leak tight.
- PSU contains oxygen generators, once activated oxygen flows to the mask and cannot be stopped (until it finishes)
- ECAM crew oxygen cylinder pressure indication becomes amber as pressure goes below 400 PSI.
- Crew mask sensor is located on the LH door of crew mask container.
- Before replacing crew oxygen cylinder be sure to pull “Crew Oxy Supply” C/B.
