Common paraphilias

You'll sometimes see these referred to as the "big three" paraphilias. These are the ones that people usually thing of when they hear the work paraphilia and are also the most common (as far as we can tell).

MAP

MAP is an umbrella term for chronophilias relating to non-adults

• infantophilia - babies under a year old
• nepiophilia - babies and todlers ~1-5 years old
• pedophilia - prepubescent children ~5-10 years old
• hebephilia - young teenagers ~11-14 years old
• ephebophilia - older teenagers/young adults ~15-19 years olds

Zoophilia is the attraction to non-human animals

Necrophilia

Necrophilia is the attraction to the dead
