Death of Internet?

Sometimes I watch several youtube shorts while I working, just to have a break for couple of minutes. I should avoid to do it at all, but it is the topic for the next post.
The point here is when Sora 2 appeared, I immediately started to see a tons of funny but fake history videos. I was shocked how realistic they were.
Then I saw the video from one of my favorite youtube channels - Kurzgesagt - about the problems with AI content which they have. They create various scientific videos and faced with the problems of impossibility to normally factcheck the data today, because a huge amount of content in open sources is generated. When they tried to generate the data for one of the videos and then started to factcheck, the accuracy was only about 20%! With deep research it was around 80%, but still 20% were impossible to factcheck, it was imagined information.
What is scary now is that more and more content is generated now and the sources of the data used more and more generated too.
Is this the end of Internet? We can’t find some helpful and useful information now, we risk to consume fake data which was probably created without intention but still fake. We can’t find some only consume now some entertaining information which doesn’t really help us.
