My Hypixel Skyblock journey

Hello, Im ZozoFlowflow! I suppose you are hear to read about how you should start out your skyblock journey on Hypixel! I will be telling you about what i did wrong and what you should do when you start.

July 2020

I started playing on the server hypixel in December 2019. Eight months later i started the most amazing experience on minecraft in my LIFE!!! I had come across the one... the only... HYPIXEL SKYBLOCK!!!! I clicked it in curiosty and also because i saw a load of videos on youtube about skyblock and i had never played it before.

As soon as i join i somehow knew exactly what to do i typed /island in the chat and it took me to this medium sized island. I looked around and i realized there was anouther island close by around 25-40 blocks away from me, although it didnt look the same as the island i was standing on it was gray like stone, cobble stone or andesite and had a portal on it with some words hovering infront of it. I couldn't make out what the words spelt out but i thought it said something like 'Back to spawn' or 'Spawn Portal'. I noticed a chest and decided that i would take the thing inside it that were nessesary like the armour (even though i already had armour on) and the tools. I got the axe and started breaking the tree. It obiously dropped wood. I then turned the wood into wooden planks witch then meant i had 20 wooden planks.

I started bridging towards the weird grey island... SO CLOSE!!! Only like 9-10 more blocks needed. I turned back realizing that there might me some blocks in the chest... there was. I used those last few blocks to bridge over to the other island. YES! It worked i was at the lonley grey island. {insert picture NO.1} I went up to the portal and read the words 'Hub portal'... well i was close.

I turned to my left to see a cave in the stone floor. I was a bit cautious to go in at first just incase there was a skeleton inside that would kill me and then all my stuff would drop and then i would rage and then you wouldnt be reading this because i probably would of quit the game and then... sorry! Anyways little did i know you dont loose your stuff in skyblock you loose the money in your purse, unless you put it in the bank (at the hub).

I ventured on down the cave worried i was going to get shot by a skeleton or something like that. But no... i found a chest, with loot in the chest (I forgot what was in the chest as i am writing this on Thursday 27 January 2022 but i think it was like torches and wood.)
