Learning in the future

Currently, only programmers mostly make use of this technique.(from what i know)

Understanding the concept and then using a external system to look up specific details.

I think that in the future, humans will be required to have a BCI(BrainComputerInterface) implanted. The user will not need to know anything(almost) and they can be a polymath at everything, no more specialityes, everyone can do everything.

This is partialy a good idea, like how programmers currently do. But, i cant say anything about the full picture.
