Going outside is such a vital thing for humans and so many people don't even realise how much it does for one's wellbeing. And how many yet live in places where there is no nature to be seen.
I'm lucky enough to live in a place where I have some woods and a walking trail through all of that as a city amenity, and I've come to value it. Sometimes I just walk there, sometimes I jog for a while too. But it's good to disconnect and see things around you.

I go to find nature whenever I can. looking onto a big expanse of nature reminds me that not everything depends on me, and God or the universe or whatever-have-you is helping things develop according to its own pattern of perfection a little at a time. i feel like that also speaks to the idea of "touching grass" - remember that it's not all about you, that the world keeps on going without you, and that it is beautiful.
