Car break

Today, on my way home from work, my Tourneo broke down. It jolted slightly on the motorway and the battery indicator lit up. I immediately drove to the nearby rest area and saw smoke coming out of the bonnet. The alternator had started to fry. I immediately called the breakdown service, which arrived after a short wait and towed me home.
