A different approach on how blogs should work

I don't like the format of blogs. Their chronological nature means that you write em' once, forget about it later. If enough stuff or your opinions changes, you might decide to create a new post. By that, posts are not this flowing thing that changes with you, but are more of snapshots that capture a single moment. Kinda lika a diary.

Now I don't want a diary because their effective content to time ratio is very poor and wastes other peoples time. I want my posts to be actually useful for other people to read. I'll argue that *most* people having a blog, doesn't realise this crucial property of blogs, and is wasting my time.

I am instead opting for a wiki like-style approach. Entries should try to be independent of their creation date, in order to highlight that entries are in a flowing state. Thus, I'm not going to order them in chronological order on the main page, and instead try to do something like Wikipedia's home page with "Featured entries", and probably do a list of recently modified articles instead.

Entries are completely incompatiable with Atom feeds and similar, and thus I cannot possibly offer such a service unfortunatly.
