Thematic Note

This past year's reading has been characterized by:

• A higher volume of novels than I've ever read
• Extensive Jewish-conversion-related reading
• Dipping my toes into horror but mostly being unimpressed
• My coworkers recommending this and that (Austerlitz, Shadow & Claw, A Short Stay in Hell)
