The Quarkbeast is a magically created creature that lives in the Kazam Universe. They are very rare, but Jennifer Strange owns one and The Once Magnificent Boo has four.

They have been described as "one tenth Labrador, six tenths velociraptor and three tenths kitchen food blender." Because of this and their fearsome appearance, most of the population is terrified of them.

They will eat anything, particularly metal. According to Jennifer, one can chew through a double-decker bus lengthways in eight seconds.
