Sultana buns
Ingredients
250g self-raising flour
125g butter
125g demerara sugar
1 tbsp milk
1 egg, beaten
35g sultanas
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
2. Rub the butter into the flour.
3. Add the sugar and sultanas.
4. Add the egg and milk and make a stiff mixture.
5. Line a baking tray with parchment.
6. Put the mixture onto the tray in 12 heaps.
7. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Makes 12 buns.
