Banana bread

Ingredients

120g butter
120g sugar
200g self-raising flour
1tsp baking powder
   2 eggs
50ml milk
   3 very ripe bananas

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 160C.

2. Mash the bananas.

3. Cream the butter and sugar together then mix in the eggs.

4. Add the bananas and the milk.

5. Mix together the flour and the baking powder fold into the mixture.

6. Put into a lined, greased 1kg loaf tin.

7. Bake for about 45 minutes, until a skewer comes out clean.

8. Allow to cool completely in the tin before turning out.
