This image is so fascinating. Along with the distortion added by the forum, it's also monochrome, schewed. I wonder where this image came from?

original image was 512x288 so it wasn't downscaled

it uses imagemagick with these simple args
-resize '512x512>' -ordered-dither o2x2,3
so it will scale down only things bigger than 512x512
i prefer the aesthetic of ordered dithering over floyd steinberg
all images get passed through this regardless of canvas size or file size for cohesiveness

only on /img/ will you have the ability to post image threads and, optionally, image replies. the post links are next to or have replaced the existing post links. you can use the token field to provide a comment with the image post if you want.

it wasn't too clear from the landing page which image posts were replies to what so i changed image-only post content there to "[Image reply in: <thread>]"
new image threads now also require a comment using the token field when uploading since "[Image reply in: [Image]]" would also not be helpful

This is genuinely very cool, and very much in the spirit of gemini. nice work!

i've been playing morrowind on and off for almost 20 years. i'm back to being lost in a world i don't have completely mapped out in my head and the quests are generally well-written and the settings have so much attention to detail. it's such a huge project and extremely impressive that it feels tied perfectly with canon lore. if you haven't played morrowind in a while, you should give it a revisit with tamriel rebuilt! (and i also recommend using openmw https://openmw.org/en/)

It's mostly just people saying horrible things to get money from generally miserable people. It's not pleasant, but aggro just feeds the beast. There's no such thing as bad publicity, and really these people thrive on the conflict.

@440 I wouldn't confine it so much. Fashy bashing in general is fine by me. "A rose by any other name..."
