Basically, have voice actors mimmick the situation of the character they are playing.

Pilots sounding unrealistic because they are reading lines while in a booth. Pilots sound like they do because they are bored from doing the same procedure regularly, with a stunted cadence because they have to stop to control instruments and equipment between requests/responses.

Have voice actors do a bit until they are bored of doing it.

Have voice actors do random tasks. Having to press buttons that light up randomly, flip switches.
