Looks like a very simple radio circuit. Audio signal goes through a radio amplifier that controls some frequency in the 20kz to 200khz range. Frequency has to be dialed in to the particular user though.

Wireless transmission may be possible. Patent says that wattage required is materially different when at least one electrode is attached to someone. Probably this just requires a direct connection to the magnetic biofield.

Colloquially, the "neurophone."

Electromagnetic field generator, frequencies above the audible range (supersonic) and with "high voltages."
Amplitude or frequency modulation of 20 kilocycles/s to 200 kilocycles/s.
Tuning potentiometers are required to find the frequencies that resonate with the human and enable them to hear the audio being modulated by the machine.
