This card pertains to a resource available on the internet.

Open source stenotype transcription software.

It reads TX Bolt, Gemini PR, and mangled N-Key Rollover keyboard inputs. These inputs are then matched to a dictionary and where replacements are found they are inserted.

Intended for traditional American stenotypes but it has plugins to use it with other things.

I tried this with a Utopen Stenoboard and did not enjoy it (this was the stenoboard's fault; it uses shitty mouse buttons for keys.)

More recently tried with a MIDI controller since there is a piano-based stenography method:

Michela stenography (uses piano keyboard instead.)
There is also a plugin to use MIDI devices as inputs
A plugin for the Michela stenography system
