have been after a sensory feeling of pencil on paper that i can't seem to itch. the paper's too wobbly or the notebook isn't bound right. my fingers are soft from lack of writing instrument use. i miss the blisters and muscle strain, almost. and i have to wonder how old this feeling is, to find comfort in pen and pencil. to lavish an exceptional pen on pristine paper. love letters or life's work.
