About me

I am 24 years old, come from Switzerland and there I study Lectureship, so I am going to be a teacher some day.

The name GraspingSpriggan originated, because I am fascinated by mystical creatures and because I also like languages per se, since - well - grasping and spriggan is an anagram and it matches as well, because of spriggans being larcenous creatures.

Ich have many interests regarding doing all sorts of stuff myself. Fisrt I am intersted in medieval reenactment, focussing on the viking age around the 9th century. Therefore I am going to make some clothing and other gear myself.

Other than that I am also interested in motorcycles, board games, books and IT. Regarding these interests I also will tackle some projects in the future. I probably will be going to write about other topics regarding the viking age as well, but we will see.

I thought about blogging regarding these topics publicly, because I like to inspire people to make more stuff themselves, and to provide a source of information fr those who are interested to easily find something on different topics.

With this blog I want to connect to like-minded people but also anyone who shows some kind of interest in what I will write about. I will not publish regularely, because of the projects often requiring a lot of time and also me having other stuff on my schedule.
