Translation Tools for Heroine Anthem I&II

1. Download an extract the DRM-free voiced Heroine Anthem I&II distribution from

2. Open Makefile and edit HA1PATH and HA2PATH to point to the directories where

you have extracted Heroine Anthem I&II.

3. Run make dump

About

This translation was abandoned by the original project managers in 2005. It appears no one ever decided to pick it up and complete it. Most of the game internals were already documented.

WindThunder released an updated version of the games a few years ago that is free to download and adds full voice. It seemed like a good reason to resume work on this translation.

All tools have been rewritten from scratch based on the original documents. It now uses a simple Makefile system to make it easy to rebuild the full game from scratch. It might even be possible to shrink the game size by scraping for used files and removing the many included images that never appear in-game.

The script file build system is also improved.
