Checking in – June 2025

Well that was another month in.

A little bit of health

My weight has stabilised for the time being and is no longer rising or falling outside of a reasonable range. It's okay I guess.

My eyesight has stabilised a little too, with being able to focus on all of the screen a little bit better.

However, I have gotten more tired than usual. I now nap in the afternoons sometimes even though I rarely do in the past. It's pretty proper too. No matter how early I go to bed I can only wake up past 11:00. It means I spend maybe half the day asleep which isn't the best. Having said that if something that needs my early wake up time, like a colonoscopy for instance, I can still wake up early and on time. And yes, that happened too. It was a whole day at the hospital even though the procedure only took about 50 minutes. The price difference can't be beat though, even though in the end I have to handle a bunch of problems such as bleeding on the outside of the area of investigation which lost me a pair of underpants.

Getting tired

Actually on top of that I have been less being able to do anything at all. Right now I have just these things I promised myself:-

These are just things that I promised myself, so I can easily delay their deadlines forever (essentially they have no deadline). Things that have deadlines I just let whoosh by for no reason.

Even my daily habits have had some rearrangements. My daily diary sessions have now changed to once every three days, as has my wallet check. For the latter, this is for the better as I spend less time chasing missing transactions. But for the latter it makes updating the journal a little bit longer. Eh, I think it'll manage.

Anything else

I did manage to finish a few small tasks anyway, a flag or two. Also I played Blue Prince which is a good game and I like it but the fan on my computer goes on full bore and the CPU thermal pegs so I'm like eh.
