Funny how all the college educated "knowledge workers" out there only started noticing automation with the recent AI boom threatening to take their jobs. That used to only be a problem for us unwashed masses down here in the blue collar world, but the disease has crossed the class-barrier, like some kinda socio-economic genital lesion. Centuries of industrialization destroying a laundry list of trades and leaving entire regions like the US Rust-Belt, dried up husks that have had all their valuable juices sucked out of them , but suddenly it's a pressing issue for the over-educated petite bourgeoisie.
