To Linus Torvalds, the Microsoft Linux Foundation is Increasingly a Liability and Risk to the Brand
Posted by Roy Schestowitz on Dec 12, 2025
Linus Torvalds should wake up. The latest Ponzi scheme promotion by his current employer was led by Microsoft, a founding member, which also led the PR onslaught. They now use the "Linux" brand like an ass-wipe with which to legitimise an elaborate scam.
We regret to say we don't want to view Torvalds as a problem, but if he remains so passive, then that too becomes a problem. And yes, he too becomes a passive culprit. Over time he also morphs into a part-time Microsoft apologist (just a hobby of his, nothing professional like GNU), knowing where part of his paycheck comes from (Microsoft Linux Foundation, which is coin-operated).
This becomes increasingly worrying because we see the people interviewing him being Microsoft operatives, paid by Microsoft. From being an honest person blasting the "AI" bubble he now softens his words on the matter; the same goes for Rust.
If Torvalds is no longer in control or "in charge", then somebody else is. █
