On EPO Cocainegate/Luis Berenguer's reputation
This week we are engaging with Spanish media about EPO Cocainegate. There's a lot more coming on this topic, a lot more than we can feasibly cover by the end of this year (5 weeks from now the year ends).
"One curious thing that struck me recently," wrote a reader to us, "if you go on Luis Berenguer's Instagram profile (he goes by @luisberenguerg), you can see that just a few days ago he was running through the English Garden in Munich despite being on sick leave. Apparently to show the image of a healthy and active middle-aged person as opposed to the cokehead he has been exposed to be."
"I am wondering how the EPO management would treat regular staff if they were on sick leave but apparently fit enough to do some exercise outside and brag about it online."
"After the incident, he also posted some more pics with his daughters to show "what the most important things in life" (caption) are, just shameless to use minors for a turnaround of his damaged reputation."
We published this just 4 days ago: Abuses Women at the EPO, Uses His Daughters to Comfort His Big Ego Whilst EPO Breaks Laws
"To me," said the reader, "this shows that they are already proactively working on rebuilding Luis' reputation for the purpose of reinstalling [reinstating] him, possibly after the summer break in 2026 when this issue will be forgotten and forgiven. Chances are, even earlier than that."
Well, EPO "Cocainegate" cannot be memory-holed and it's time to say "enough" to EPO corruption and Mafia culture. The EU as a whole is being stained by this. █
