Weeding Out Extremism in Our Community
Reinforcing the Allegations Some More, Bryan Lunduke Digs His Own Grave
HTTPS image: Hey, lunduke. Enough with your bull****

In the interests of free speech and diversity of views I've long linked (in Daily Links here or in Tux Machines) to episodes of Microsoft Lunduke. That's not because I agreed (except on finer salient points). He typically starts with a "grain of truth" (e.g. Linux Foundation sucks), then veers off in a crazy political direction. The titles are sometimes constructed based on clickbait which represents just 1-5% of what the episodes cover. That's not hard to see and ESR said it out loud. He seems incapable of writing actual articles (instead he writes down notes and reads them out loud) and this latest episode contains at least 3 huge lies:

HTTPS: Linux Foundation
ESR said it out loud
this latest episode

In short, (1) is patently false and he knows that it is false. He makes a fictional version of events. Regarding (2), I already showed that he did this to me and even explicitly said so (the tweets have since then been deleted) while instructing people to use bad language against me, which refutes (3).

On the basis of truth and fact-checking we shall stop linking to any episodes of Microsoft Lunduke in Daily Links. It's not censorship but a matter of quality control. Just like peer-reviewed journals are obligated to publish any garbage tossed their way, we won't send people to the "Journal" of this idiot anymore.

Eventually all he'll have left is 4Chan-type trolls who come to abuse our IRC network. █
