We've Clearly Struck a Nerve

Maybe Bill Gates is Getting Demented Like His Late Father (He Says Things That Are True But He's Not Supposed to Say in Public)
The Userbase of GNU/Linux is Growing, Investments in the FSF Grow Too (in Spite of Microsofters Inciting and Slandering It)

Microsofters and Microsoft proxies have meanwhile lost their temper

LAST week we published "Proving Yet Again That Techrights Was Right About UEFI 'Secure Boot' All Along (Since 2012)" and it was read by thousands of people. It's part of the ongoing vindication, for we have warned about this outcome all along and this year we saw grave consequences.

It should be noted that Microsofters still use this to FUD and smear Linux. Even this week we see nonsense like this; an associate said this was "more FUD directed at Linux instead of addressing the problem of UEFI".

The issue here isn't Linux but those imposing this on Linux and on GNU/Linux users. We know who they are; we even sued them [1, 2] and we heard that others too plan to sue them. For tactical reasons we won't name who's planning to sue them, but it doesn't look good for the Microsofters. Their professional career is practically over because they've become synonymous with abuse.

It's not hard to understand why we 'irritate' Microsoft; we talk about facts that Microsoft would rather suppress. It's trying to bribe everyone, even the "FSFE" (false name, identity thief). Notice how the 'FSFE' nearly stopped doing articles; it seems like its sole purpose or remaining activity is corrosive and it's trying to take credit for things it had nothing to do with. An associate said that "FSFE needs to turn over the name + domain to the FSF itself; I see that as the only way to make good..."

The SFC has had a similar dispute with the SFLC, which it sought to imitate and then 'rob' (diverting funds away from it, based on false or highly misleading messages).

We don't want to feed provocateurs and serial defamers, but let's just say that Microsofters with ties to the SFC are trying very hard right now to discourage donations to the FSF. The tactics are all too familiar and they're a disservice to women. The Microsoft-connected Tidelift plays along. It's basically a bunch of angry and utterly misguided men who falsely claim to protect women. Don't believe them. Not for a second. █
