Debian Moving to Static Pages for Everything ("Migrate the Debian Main Website to HuGo")

Linking to this page, Debian has announced what seems like a real, concrete plan to migrate everything to static pages with Go (or HuGo).

EARLIER this month Debian wrote: "Debian will participate in this year's December Outreachy round with the projects "Automatic Indi-3rd-party driver update" and "Migrate the Debian main website to HuGo". We are currently in the Intern selection period and are looking forward to start the work. See https://wiki.debian.org/Outreachy/"

The Debian wiki isn't static, whereas "news" and "bits" appear to be static. It'll probably be a big job migrating all the existing stuff to Hugo (or "HuGo"), but Google et al can supply underpaid or unpaid (slave) labour, compensating with "recognition" or "experience" very laborious and mostly boring work. █
