The creator of Linux isn't the creator of GNU/Linux. He moved from Finland to the United States and got naturalised in the United States, where GNU started 14 years earlier ("moved to the United States in 1997 to begin working for Transmeta," MIT says)

THERE is this new article timely entitled (because of the US holiday) "Switching from Microsoft Windows 11 to Linux is like Columbus discovering America" and it reminds of how the Linux Foundation keeps lying about GNU/Linux starting in 1991 (like "Columbus discovering America"). Similarly, an associate now tells us that, contrary to known facts: "It seems Microsofters are pushing more revisionist history regarding Kildall and CP/M vs MS-DOS. There may be something to that..."

Science and verifiable facts still matter to us, so we'll continue to reject revisionism in all its forms. As we said the other day, there's plenty of "business value" in revisionism. That's where the "money" is... that's why Groklaw perished and Wikipedia is still going, funded by Bill Gates and Microsoft to distort history (unlike Wikileaks).

To be clear, GNU started 41 years ago. It happened in Boston, not in Helsinki. █
