Nothing Will Be Secure and Robust to Failure Until Microsoft Windows is Eradicated and/or Disconnected From the Internet

GNU/Linux Took Off at the BSDs' Expense (Amid Telecom Lawsuit) and the Rivalry Persists Because Microsoft is Negligible in the Server Space

Every system has limited capacity, Windows botnets push things to their limits

HTTPS image: Nordea has faced recurring problems with its services for several weeks, which the bank has attributed to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks and technical upgrades.

The mainstream media refuses to call out Windows (Yle is also connected to Microsoft; we covered this before), but a lot of technical and security blunders that it writes about are the fault of Microsoft and Microsofters.

"For several weeks," Yle said today, "Nordea has faced recurring problems with its services, which the bank has attributed to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks and technical upgrades."

"DDoS are due to botnets of compromised Windows machines," an associate pointed out. "That gets no coverage any more. DDoS do not appear out of nowhere. It is the result of a carefully prepared landscape of not-fit-for-purpose systems spread across the net throughout the world's nations."

"Networked Microsoft systems are an accident waiting to happen, as they say."

A week ago we wrote about this in relation to airports, recalling how "Windows kills, it kills children, and millions of patients are denied care/service due to Windows."

Even if you run some service with the most up-to-date and fully-patched GNU/Linux, as long as this service is openly available to other nodes on the Web/Net and many of them run Windows, it may be able to fully protect against security breaches but not DDoS attacks. Denial of service can sometimes be as critical as a data breach if not worse (e.g. during a surgery). Windows needs to be taken offline, but instead Microsoft sabotages PCs to take GNU/Linux offline. Microsoft has become like a botmaster through UEFI 'secure' boot. █
