XBox has long been in trouble, but this time it seems fatal

XBox sales are down over 50% in the past year. That's according to Microsoft, so maybe the real (complete) numbers are even worse than this. Now we see XBox reports like [1, 2], serving to reaffirm what some online pundits said last year.

XBox is basically dying and it may soon be dead because it's not financially viable (the same is true for 'Open'AI; it just looks for more lenders to cushion very deep losses and fake its alleged "value"). Microsoft paid a huge price to buy a company and fake a revenue increase, now it's just laying off staff of that company and throws away many of its teams, games, etc.

Microsoft cannot afford this! Microsoft basically has a severe problem because many of its areas of operation - including clown computing - lose a lot of money. Borrowing more and more money isn't the solution, it'll just deepen the problem and externalise some costs. It seems like Microsoft's biggest bailout to date is called off; as a result, HoloLens is dead.

So what's left for Microsoft to actually sell for a profit? Certainly not XBox; Microsoft actually loses money on each XBox sold.

Expect XBox to be dead in months or a few years. █
