Recent (an hour ago): In Malta, Android/Linux Has Overtaken Microsoft Windows (According to statCounter)

Vista 11 has not grown in Malta for over a year, at least as statCounter sees it, or based on Web data, i.e. Web requests traced back to Malta.

Microsoft is having serious issues. So what's the Malta connection? well, organised crime is a widely known issue in Malta, which became a safe haven or refuge to some dodgy people. The economy is based around this.

Malta is probably easy for Microsoft to bribe, but that might not be enough anymore. Also, bribery isn't cheap. Budget is tight.

GNU/Linux is doing OK there. █
