WE have only just noticed that Marine Le Pen's site runs nginx and the official blog uses Google, a company started by a man from Moscow. Given that the certificate is issued by the Linux Foundation's LE, one might wonder how long before some angry crowd or online mob demands that they revoke the certificate (as they did in the past). They also demand a boycott of nginx. Maybe they want to sanction Free software... as if that's possible. Remember "Ethical Source"? Nobody talks about that nonsense anymore.

To be clear, she doesn't look like the next leader of France [1, 2, 3] and given the lack of a "tech" platform (the policy is all about immigration and little else to be noted), perhaps it's a case of nothing to see here, move along. Those official sites contain loads of trackers and other surveillance. They must be technically clueless, not that ours is much better. █
