THE other day I ranted that Gulag Noise had begun showing non-English results in English searches. It has been getting worse since; on a Friday (not slow weekend or holiday) it looks like the above (framed are the bits not in English).

News is drying up. Journalism is becoming very scarce. Many of the remaining results are blogs, not news sites, and many relay intentionally inaccurate information (clickbait). This is a considerable problem for society. █
