THE OTHER day we noted that we had ended up with two different Gemini capsules. One is the "legacy" capsule that I've hosted from home for nearly 3 years. The other is the capsule created and maintained seamlessly by our static page generator, with "old" stuff added on top. Today, or overnight, we're copying about 50,000 Gemini pages to the new capsule. The plan is to use the old capsule, which gets backed up every morning to an external disk, as a fallback of sorts. This means we may still have two Gemini capsules (with different addresses). In case of downtimes this can come in handy.

At the moment our Gemini capsule (the new one) can be accessed via either gemini://techrights.org or gemini://gemini.techrights.org. You'd need a Gemini client for that. Here is a temporary Web proxy running from my living room.

Gemini upgrade is work in progress. We had capacity issues. At the end we'll end up with something a lot better than before and latency should be massively reduced. █
