THE site's migration is still going on. There are some sections that have not yet been ported across (the wiki for instance) and we need to restore a bunch of services and devices, as noted this morning. In Gemini we have around 50,000 pages (the number of objects is even greater, but pages as a metric should be enough), IPFS has 36,951 files in its working directory, and then there's Git (for two different domains), Links and so much more.

noted this morning

While the migration is still ongoing (the upgrade is complete, but we have lots of stuff to convert and copy across) we've noticed that Techrights, in the Web directory (htdocs), is about to exceed 200,000 files and directories.

17 years is 6,205 days (not counting leap years), so that's about 30 per day since 2006. And we're not done yet. This hopefully helps demonstrate just how colossal the migration actually is. It's infeasible to migrate one page at a time. █
