It is easy to install, has a great configuration center, and a good package management system with plenty of packages to fulfill most peoples needs. The people behind Pardus have spent a lot of time to create a distro that looks good and is stable. I believe my granny can work with Pardus without problems. No messing with config-files in any way, just install it and start working with it. I will continue to use Pardus and have advised others to give it a try.Good job, Pardus team! What They’re Using: Michael Anti and His Eee PCDesktop Linux and Subnotebooks/NetbooksWhy I Can’t Wait for PCLinuxOS 2008PCLinuxOS, the hottest Linux distribution of 2007 have gone quiet for more than a year now. I passed a ThinkPad T40 on to a friend of mine and, because he’s all thumbs when it comes to computers (except for using certain software), I offered to help him install XP.Status of Ubuntu Romanian Localization TeamLinux Made Easy now on sale!Python for Unix and Linux System Administration(K)(X)Ubuntu AlternativesMepis is has a long history compared to new distributions.
