Devolving Further
It's quite apparent from the sparseness of my gemlog that I am not very inclined to write regularly here.
I thought about it, and it occurred to me: I didn't do online journaling back in the day. My earliest such experiences were with LiveJournal, several years after my intro to the internet. Before "blogging" (I still hate that word), we used to write topic-oriented web pages.
As thoughts have popped into my head lately, they haven't been journal-type thoughts. They wouldn't be organized well by date. Basically, they fall into two categories:
- Stuff not really worth writing - This junk can stay on IRC or maybe Mastodon.
- Stuff that if worth saying is worth saying well - For these thoughts, I'll skip the journal format.
In a sense, I'm devolving further back to my internet roots.
