I used to make a lot of music before I became a dad. I used to spend a lot of my free time throwing demos together, working on friends' projects, playing a lot of bass guitar, but doing a whole bunch of things, and I really enjoyed it.

And then parenthood took all of that time, and I haven't done a proper demo in two or three years, now. I was halfway through one last year, I got everything up to the vocal work done and then I had to stop, and I never restarted. So I'm really quite happy, firstly, that I got one finished, and secondly, I had a lot of fun doing it. I actually was able to involve the kids a little bit with the production of it at the very beginning, and to me it sounds fun, and I really enjoyed it.

I've attached a copy of the demo to this Captain's Gemlog, and if you so please, you're free to give it a listen.
