The Mavericks-Lakers trade
...just what the heck?
I was playing video games last night when one of my friends said "AD for Luka?", then I checked reddit and saw that a trade just happened between the Mavericks and the Lakers which involved sending Anthony Davis to the Mavericks in exchange for Luka Doncic. My reaction was basically the same as everyone else's: pure bewilderment.
There are so many things wrong with this trade, but everything that I want to say has already been said by many people online. I just wanted to made a new gemlog entry to mark one of the most absurd trades in NBA history. I stayed up all night just reading everyone's reactions and opinions about it. In particular, the Mavericks subreddit basically felt like a funeral.
We will see how it plays out, I guess. But wow...
