Languages

I love languages. I fluently make mistakes in a dozen or so.

This brought home the bacon during the 20 odd years I worked as an interpreter.

Today I continue with languages, but for fun.

I learnt most of them because of life circumstances, either because I was in a specific country or because I was with somebody.

Three exceptions: Danish, Czech and Indonesian :-)

I read somewhere

tomorrow's illiterate will speak only one language

needless to say I entirely agree.

Latest I'm working on: Luxemburguish, Indonesian and toki pona.

I discovered toki pona thanks to noa but his Little dreamer site disappeared.
