~ About ~

Howdy, I’m Shufei, an eccentric old lady. I like to play with computers sometimes. But I’m not 1337 by any means and rather slow, so please bear with.

Right now I’m interested in learning:

• Unix type stuff. I mostly keep Debianish training wheels on, but am trying to get dirty with Linux system.
• Lispianism. I would fancy to get proficient enough with CL, Scheme, Racket to make some nice X11 or GTK doodads.
• Retro and smol computers. I have a dandy C64 which has taught me about address space. I’d fancy to play more with that, and with Raspi and such.

I also enjoy sewing, embroidery, hiking, travel, DIY construction, volunteering, photovoltaics, dollies, lego, and sandbox or simulation games.

~ Serious Literature ~

I cross post most things to gopher at my gopherhole on the Zaibatsu.

~ Cooking ~

I enjoy cooking, if by simple means, especially campfire cooking. I tend to stir fry and dry fry (no oil), but have also done baking and roasting. A few select recipes may entice the reader to discover their own cooking enjoyment.

~ Better Literature ~

Poems, stories, snippets, and songs. Whatever dross of mind I feel fit to mention, I shall deposit herein. Withal by the elder ethos that words are much alive when free.
